Maintenance of Social Commitments in Multiagent Systems

We introduce and formalize a concept of maintenance commitment, kind social commitment characterized by states whose truthhood an agent commits to maintain. This commitments enables us capture richer variety real-world scenarios than possible using achievement with temporal condition. By developing rule-based operational semantics, we study the relationship between agents' goals, commitments, commitments. motivate notion coherence which captures alignment cognitive constructs, prove that, under specified conditions, goals both rational agents individually multiagent system are coherent.
